provided your basic instincts do not lead you to hurt other people. Rapists, thieves, murders, malicious people, dictators... they're all being themselves too. I don't think its ok.
I have witnessed may incidences (in the corporate world) where people who "are themselves" are horribly moody, slam phones down, are rude to their teammates and generally are truly obnoxious to deal with. They dont last very long. Similarly, there is a limit to how much @#%$ loved ones can tolerate - for example, emotionally unstable people can slowly erode their relationships, no matter how much the love.
I don't feel like putting up with certain types, I mean if they can be themselves, so can I! People who want to "be themselves" without thought for how it affects others have to live with the consequences (and so do the people affected, sadly).

That sounds like something a Molecular Biologist would say.

What is love? I'm not 100% on it....
...but I believe that in the end: love, truth, beauty, quality and light are all things that merge into one.
