Hey, Kristina??
How do you say "Happy Birthday" in German???
And Chris?
Kenny Lee wants to know how to say "Happy Birthday" in Cantonese.....
If we have any other languages happening here, - your versions would be most Welcome.....
(Swedish, Italian, Indian, Cajun, Armenian, Hebrew, Spanish, French...... - you got it? - we want it....)

Quote: in german we say "Herzlichen Glückwunsch"
Kristina, doesn't it sometimes depend on which area the person is from? There are a few ways to say it auf Deutsch ?
Ich erlernte, etwas Deutsches in der Schule zu sprechen. (ein wenig, hahaha!)
Ich konnte sagen:"Alles Gute zum Geburtstag!" - nien?

Quote: Happy to hear it's always interesting for you. I can relate to that.
Yeah, life has it's ups and downs, but it's certainly not boring - and it sure beats the alternative, lol.
Quote: Art-crime? That sounds REALLY INTERESTING!!! Combined with TV production?
Most the musicians I know are also involved in other artforms - so you get pulled into one area and somehow find yourself in another.
Quote: Is that when you film a documentary where you are burglars who steal expensive paintings from rich people's homes/!?!?!?
hahahaha - actually I did have a half-witted notion of two guys doing an good-ol-boys arts show. Kinda like "Sister Wendy" (you've seen her?) except with beer-swilling and politically incorrect remarks about nude painting/sculpture.
Quote: all projects for TV do take a lot of time
Yup, and unless a person has deep pockets, arranging financing is one of the major time-consumers! Dealing with people is always challenging, too - egos being what they are and all. (of course, I have no problems ego-wise myself, lol)
Quote: Sideman stuff in the studio? Like what? Can we hear a peek?!??!
Jack-of-all-trades and master of none, as the saying goes, hahaha. Someone needs a bass, guitar, mandolin, vocal or whatever and gives a shout. Gee, I should tag on or email something for you to listen to, y'all ain't never heard me (you been safe so far, heheh)! But this thread is a celebration of "all that is Chris", hahaha, I won't sidetrack it right now.
(And I'll have to check what will convert from DAT to PC okay, I don't do much direct-2-disk PC recording at home.)
In the meanwhile, I hope you're having a fantastic BD!
