Isn't that a Brazil thing? (Rio de Janeiro).....?

In the midwest a carnival is a bunch of rusty old ferris wheels and other amusement park rides that they haul into town with semi trucks...and guys trying to get you to play assorted ring-tossing or dart-throwing games that are always rigged in some way as to make it impossible to win a small stuffed toy without spending like a hundred and seventy five dollars.



Sometimes they have a beer garden. :fg :g

Anyways, if you meant "Carnival" as in the New Orleans Mardi Gras, Theo, - it's no real biggie here.....



I think the gay community parties it up a bit, but that's about all...

I think it's "Carnaval" for Mardi Gras...



My daughter had to do a project on Brazil and they spell it that way...
