Drooley, you big wuss. Amsterdam is beautiful. Just because their laws are rational doesn't mean they're dangerously wild.

Make sure you check out some of the great Indonesian food they have there. (Riestaffel).

Damn all you people traveling, while I get up and go to work again. I couldn't be much more jealous.

Riestaffel means rice table in Dutch. It's their version of Indonesian food. The Dutch colonized Indonesia back in the day. The Dutch East Indies. They took that incredible food home with them. You can eat Indonesian food without eating meat, but you'll have to inform the waiter that you're a vegetarian. They put stuff like blanchan (shrimp paste) in vegetable dishes, so you gotta watch out. Any good restaurant will be able to guide you. It is some of the finest cuisine in the world. Nice and hot.

While you're in A-Dam, see if you come across some blues clubs. Write their names down and I'll get in touch for our European tour. (See Chris- I do have a dream). I wanna play some blues in that town, and maybe visit a coffee house or two. Or three. Or...
