I'm just having probs with my CD manufacturer.....they seem to be taking forever to press the new batch of copies... bloody teething troubles.

I've restructured the artist signup area now ,to include three options now.



1) The CD Programme option.



2) CD Consignment option. (We sell other artists CDs - like CDBaby - but we don't take ANY commission.)



3) Just a Portfolio page for now (for new artists who havent got enough material for a CD yet)



Looks like I've covered every market there. ;)

Listened to "Hell or High" - interesting style your band has. Who's the singer? Doesn't really grab me on first listen. Sounds more American MOR than Scottish to me - LOL! hahahahahaha I don't agree with the description of "Up Tempo" though - I really expected something up-tempo - this is a 'ballad rock' song. Just my 2 cents....



"Another Day" There's some 'ppp' sound on the vocals. The mix is weird.



"Insecure" - Now I think I know the Standby style of music.



For a demo, you've done a FABULOUS job of mixing it. Have you mixed many songs before? I've only noticed a few nuances here and there....

The demo material is my first crack at mixing properly.



All the music is recorded in my flat, the vocals are a bit poppy due to the lack of pop guards in my flat!!!! Everything is being remixed and re-rerecorded for our forthcoming debut album to be released on Mikey's "Virtual" label!







Is there anyting in particular about Gerry's vox that doesnt grab you? He does get mixed reviews, usually love or hate!

Did you download the demo, or did you listen to our GetMeMusic material??



The GetMeMusic page has substantially better mixes of the songs than the demo from our own website.
