Oh well... there are many lovely places in the world, but Bavaria truly belongs to one of them

Every time I visit the "Königssee" (another lake, just a few miles away from where the pictures above were taken), I have no air to breathe anymore... it's even more beautiful in reality (see pictures of the "Königssee" below).

BTW... the lake is famous for it's clear 7-fold delay/echo. If you are on a boat and shout "Shauna", it will reflect "Shauna" 7 times exactly

) I wish I could record a song on a boat on the Königssee though :lol

I would not only spare a expensive digital-delay, but also money for water. You simply can drink the lake water

)

this is where my friend has a home in Bavaria....

We stayed here for four days...it was magnificent!!

we also stayed at a little lakehouse they had much closer to Munich...which was much busyer..but still lovely and the water still very clear!!

I have better pictures that I took from on the lake at Wachensee and from the ridge which we reached by cable car,,,but I have no way to post them.

I think Bavaria is one of the most beutifull places I've ever seen....it still makes me shake to think of some of the views..
